Unbelievably, I'm getting really upset at the possibility that Baby David's parents are stage parents. That boy should not be treated like a marketing toy. Sigh... If this is true, one thing Idol can do right is to get the dad away.
However, wtf with another Beatles night? O.o The stress....
At least one good thing happened today though. I managed to download a patch for my router that will allow me to use BT without the connection breaking every 5 min. \o/ Pirating lifestyle, doncha miss me? |

Maybe you should have sent me an email notification to alert me about this backlog? I was freaking out over not getting my alerts, because it never ever happened before.
And while I am in a bitchy mood...
I was discussing with some project group mates over when our next meeting should be on. And one of them got really pissy over meeting on Monday because she supposedly has a job interview at an indefinite time (and even day). It's not like we are very free on other days, y'know? Two other friends have lessons on Monday and are willing to meet in the 5h-gap in between. And you are worried about a job interview which you can highly possibly postpone/adjust the timing. How long can a fucking interview take? If the potential boss is not willing to even accommodate to this, you know the company is not a good place to work at.
This is why I hate project work. |

Okay, everything was going fine, I was really enjoying the Oscars (totally slept through it in the morning though I woke up and even switched on the TV), and the local station just had to do what it always does - cutting away any slight bit of gayness. ALWAYS. THEY NEVER FAIL TO DO IT.
That last bit where Scott (from the winning team of No Country for Old Men) gave his acceptance speech and thanked his partner, it was cut out during the re-run. WTF. IT'S JUST ONE FUCKING SENTENCE. I am so glad that I was actually awake during the live broadcast to see it. And this is not the first time the local station did that. Previously, in a Golden Globe/Oscars, the host had a kiss with another dude for comedy's sakes, and woot, it was cut out in the re-run. Er, can't they even take a joke? It's not even a blatant parading of gay lifestyle.
GODS RAGE. RAWRRRRR.
With that outta the way, let's go on to the good stuff. Love Jon Stewart, love the presenters, love the montages, love the winners... This is really a pretty amazing show.

WTF Idol. You could have posted these videos BEFORE the performance shows, to at least, y'know, show the audience the personalities of the contestants. Mainly, I just feel bad for Colton and Garrett, and even Amy. Their vids really showed their quirky sides, which may have gotten them some more votes. :/ And coincidental is it that both Garrett and Colton said they don't get embarrassed?

Stop being stupid and study the goddamn correct text when you actually planned to study! Now, you gonna fail that stupid 10% test, which would have been so simple if you had studied the right thing, not to mention you will make the teacher laugh so hard at the stupid answers, and you gotta work twice as hard for the term paper to pull up your entire grade. Meaning, LESS CAKE TIME OMFG. >.>

On another note, PSA for the Blake/Cake Singapore fans out there:
I went to pester HMV yesterday regarding B's single and album. It is apparently not on their import list yet, and they might only know whether it is closer to the release date. If it is not, we can order and get it a few days after the release date. Price is unknown.
Now, tell me whether ordering via Amazon is cheaper, taking into account the ridic delivery charges (around 8USD per single).
Spread the news, my dear fellowmen, ordering in bulk can save us a few cents. |
