Wtf :'(
Unbelievably, I'm getting really upset at the possibility that Baby David's parents are stage parents. That boy should not be treated like a marketing toy. Sigh... If this is true, one thing Idol can do right is to get the dad away.

However, wtf with another Beatles night? O.o The stress....

At least one good thing happened today though. I managed to download a patch for my router that will allow me to use BT without the connection breaking every 5 min. \o/ Pirating lifestyle, doncha miss me?

I'm still downloading this episode. Something happened to Baby David? And another Beatles night? LOL.

Downloading? You mean performance or results? But anyway, ETOnline reported that Jeff Archuleta, the dad, is a stage daddy, meaning he is those overbearing, overdemanding, expects their children to be perfect parents. Supposedly, Jeff was unhappy with David's performance on Monday's studio recording or something, and scolded him, even making him cry.

Yes, another wtf-Beatles night. I like Beatles, but I don't need two weeks of it!

The results.

Oh, so that a 'stage dad' means. Why is everything about this boy so dramatic (melodramatic even), lol?

Yeah, I need something more contemporary.

Ah, I haven't watch the results either. Just been reading about it here and there.

Gosh, I know. Ok, it's not like I haven't been expecting that his parents are strict and everything, but to the extent of making your son cry? :/ During Star Search, Jeff was so overbearing that he supposedly harassed a fellow contestant of David, and was banned from the show.

I was so looking forward to itunes top 100!

I'm really upset that they're doing another Beatles week...and I'm a huge Beatles fan, but two weeks in a row is a bit too much. If they were going to do that, then at least separate the weeks chronologically - early Beatles stuff in top 12, later, trippy music in the top 11. It's going to be weird watching next week, and I feel it might be weird for the contestants, too.

And as much as I thought Jordin was primed all her life to be American Idol, I never once thought of her parents as "stage parents." They seem like the nicest, kindest people in the world and would never yell at Speezy about her singing caliber or crap like that. I hope we don't hear horror stories about the Archuletas :(

*groan* I know. My eyes nearly popped out when I read the news. It's not like it was a great week too. I thought they are supposed to show versatility? -__-

Oh, Jordin's parents are beyond awesome. One look and you will know. You can also see from Jordin's behavior. On the other hand, sigh... As much as I wanna think Baby David's shyness is a natural trait, I can't help thinking the parents' strict teachings made him afraid to speak up. He reminds me of a friend I have, who is REALLY painfully soft-spoken, but at least David isn't as bad as her. Oh the scary speculations...

More Beatles? Sigh.

I kinda wonder if David's frequent "aw gee" reactions from the way everyone says he's so damn good comes from him really not believing that he's actually good. I had this thought that it's entirely possible that his dad often makes him feel like he's never good enough.

Poor kid. Overbearing parents are just.. Ugh.

Did you look at his reaction tonight when he was announced safe? He was so relieved, and Brooke beside him was holding his cheeks, and telling him he can go back to sit. So yeah, he probably does think that he is not that good, regardless of what everyone else says.

Overbearing parents are just as bad as parents who don't care at all. :/
